Inspired Child teaching artist fellowship
This 8-month fellowship is designed to train new teaching artists in Inspired Child methods and curriculum. With support from current IC teaching artists and DAE staff, we aim to prepare new teaching artists to bring professional and intentional art experiences to the classrooms we serve. Fellows will have the opportunity to engage with master teaching artists, develop skills and knowledge about brain science in arts and early childhood, and develop skillsets to bring books to life through early literacy strategies. Through our workshops, fellows will also learn how to better navigate the gig world, with our financial literacy seminar.
We are not currently have any fellowship openings, but please stay connected with us if you are interested in upcoming opportunities.

maps glover
My name is Maps Glover, and art is my life. When I was a kid growing up in the cornfields of Maryland, the wide-open spaces and natural environment was the perfect storm for a kid with a big imagination. I would build worlds out of cardboard and sticks. I created games with rules for my friends to play and imagine we were anywhere other than where we were. For years I've continued to explore better ways to create those worlds and the games have become systems. My work is a journey through the mind and body the spaces and illustration are a manifestation of an internal dialogue.
